In furtherance of the vision of “Digital India”, the Department of Telecommunications intends to bring in complete computerization and automation of all the functions across the life-cycle of revenue management from assessment–to-grievances with the objective of standardizing processes, improving customer service for telecom licensees & others and enhancing compliance across the processes. Through this exercise the department also intends to enhance delivery efficiency of the division resulting in the increase in overall revenue collection for the Government and improved user experience for the Telecom licensees. At the same time the Department is also looking forward to bring in complete transparency and governance across all the processes and branches across the country.
